We spent 2025 focusing on R&D, building smarter systems to provide better functionality in the field. SmartAG Systems and Farmscan AG focused on function and usability, giving farmers and OEMs practical tools they could trust in every job.
Whether it was improving calibration, enhancing ISOBUS compatibility or supporting dealers on the ground, every upgrade was built for real conditions in the field.
Smart System Upgrades
In early 2025, the team launched the Wireless Connection Module (WCM), giving farmers a faster and easier way to calibrate on the go with their phone. Throughout the year, the team continued refining the module to support multiple bins and standardise multiple product selection.
Further ISOBUS development saw the integration of seeding section control and automatic downforce control. These features were backed up by successful testing across multiple manufacturers at the 2025 Plugfest, providing support and connectivity across all platforms, including upcoming ones. Our clients can rest easy knowing that systems will continue to work day in, day out and connect every time.
Innovation That Performs in the Field
Hands-on results continued to drive our project partnerships.
In Australia, we worked with MPT.Ag to create a semi-autonomous seeding solution tailored to variable soil conditions. By integrating our ISOBUS control system with MPT.Ag’s 36 tine air seeder and live soil sensors, the unit can now adjust seeding depth in real time. This allows seeds to be dynamically placed where moisture is available, improving uniform emergence and reducing yield variability, especially in dry years. This is the kind of precision seeding solution built for challenging seasons.
In the UK, the Roto-Fence project brought together automation and practicality. Developed as an autonomous fencing solution for grazing operations, Roto-Fence uses a full automation package to move along boundaries and lay temporary fencing without human intervention. Powered by our Farmscan Ag team, the technology is designed to reduce labour and streamline livestock rotation. It offers a practical glimpse into the future of farm automation.
Built With OEMs, Backed by Dealers
Behind the scenes, our engineering team continued collaborating with OEMs to customise ECUs, control systems and sensors for unique machine builds. From liquid kits on large air seeders to specialised hydraulic control modules, the focus was always to streamline integration that works reliably across a range of conditions.
Dealer support across Australia and the UK also expanded, ensuring parts, training and troubleshooting stayed close to where the work happens.
Events and Industry Engagement
From global testing to local shows, 2025 gave us the opportunity to showcase our technology, connect with partners and refine how our systems perform across different regions.
We started the year with LAMMA25, where Kid Farm Machinery showcased the collaborative Roto-Fence project between Kidd Farm Machinery, Harper Adams University and Farmscan AG.
We then attended Plugfest in Germany, where we put our ISOBUS devices to the test across 45 different manufacturers. This allowed us to confirm cross-brand compatibility and sharpen firmware to meet the latest AEF standards. It was a clear step forward in making sure our systems and their upgrades are supported globally, by all manufacturers.
At FutureAg in Melbourne, we joined Australia’s agtech community to share what is working now and where new developments are heading. It was the second year the event had been held, gathering decision makers and experts in the field to discuss the future of Australian farming.
We finished the year strong with AGRITECHNICA 2025, and it was a big milestone for us. We presented solutions to a global audience, highlighting ISOBUS terminals, the 7000 series rate controller, and the WCM module. The stand was a hands-on opportunity for dealers and OEMs to see how our tools are built to fit real machinery and real paddocks. We also demonstrated how our ISOBUS range now supports direct phone updates, solving one of the recurring ISOBUS issues around supporting products in the field. All our systems are built for flexibility, reliability and seamless integration with any machine.
AGRITECHNICA was also a valuable chance to meet with long-term partners, share development updates and explore new collaborations that will shape the year ahead.

We are heading into 2026 with the clear intent of more responsive software, smoother integration and faster access to the data that drives decisions. With new projects in motion, 2026 will be another year of building new solutions that improve productivity and add value.
